RT Divers Drive & Dive: Blue Grotto & Troy Springs

Join RT Divers for an exciting Drive & Dive adventure exploring two of Florida’s beautiful freshwater spring dive sites: Blue Grotto and Troy Springs. Located in North Florida, these springs offer crystal-clear water, incredible visibility, and a unique freshwater diving experience.

Florida’s springs are fed by underground aquifers, creating an underwater world that feels almost surreal. With visibility often exceeding 100 feet, divers can explore dramatic limestone formations, cavern environments, and vibrant freshwater ecosystems that make these locations favorites among divers.

At Blue Grotto, divers will explore one of Florida’s largest clear-water caverns, featuring a deep basin, underwater rock formations, and a cavern area that descends to over 100 feet for advanced divers. The site also features a training platform and underwater air bell.

At Troy Springs, divers will experience a beautiful open-water spring basin surrounded by natural Florida landscape. The highlight of this dive is the sunken Civil War–era steamboat Madison, resting in the clear spring waters and creating a fascinating underwater attraction.

This RT Divers Drive & Dive format allows divers to travel by car between locations, making it easy to explore multiple spring sites while maximizing time in the water.This trip is not on the Deluxe Motorcoach.
